Thesis - for all those who wonder what I'm spending all my time on

A thought occured to me after writing my last post. If I posted keywords, people could do a casual search of my topics to see what all the fuss is about.

If you want to know what I'm writing about for my master's thesis, try googling any or several of these keywords and read a few articles or blog entries that you find:

Elgin Marbles
Parthenon Marbles
Lydian Hoard
Karun Treasure (same as Lydian Hoard, just different nickname)
Euphronios Krater
Ka Nefer Nefer mummy mask (at the St. Louis Art Museum)
Monteleone chariot
Apollo Sauroktonos (keep on eye out for the bronze statue at the Cleveland Museum)

other keywords you might try:

Illicit traffic of Cultural property
Repatriation of cultural patrimony
Who owns art
Who owns antiquities
Who owns cultural history
Return of cultural objects
Archaeological ethics
Museum ethics

These are just a few key words and basic topics that my thesis discusses. If you are more generally interested in the above topics, try out one of the 'wandering and learning' links I have on the side of this blog.

If doing a little research and liesure reading doesn't get you going, I don't know what will.

If you have any comments or intriguing thoughts to share, feel free to post them!
